Glimpses of the Recognizable

This is an AI artwork in collaboration with Dr. Ray LC, presented in Mei Ho Heritage House.

A city in our memories, our dreams, takes a nonlinear form, moving between states of mind, streams of consciousness, and active and passive states. GLIMPSES OF THE RECOGNIZABLE uses state-of-the-art machine learning algorithmic to create a panoramic mindscape of Hong Kong as it traverses our states of mind, growing from the streets of Causeway Bay to the harbours of the Star Ferry, using technology that commemorates the place that School of Creative Media has in the memories of our collective Hong Kong.
